EDITOR'S INTRODUCTION |
Michael Anderson (right) believes that the lack of law, or the mismanagement of law, is a contributing factor to poverty in developing countries. In this lecture, Anderson outlines four main initiatives by which law reform can reduce poverty. These are: reducing lawlessness, reforming outdated and anti-poor laws, introducing legal accountability for development projects and improved cross-border access to justice. |
